Meet This Educator

Sharon Rivera-Doublin is a passionate educator, Career Coach, Multilingual Learner advocate, entrepreneur, and community leader dedicated to helping students discover their purpose and achieve their goals. Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, she brings more than two decades of experience in education, workforce development, human resources, and community engagement.
Why they became a teacher?
I became an educator because I believe every student deserves someone who sees their potential and helps them discover what is possible. I am passionate about helping students explore career pathways, pursue higher education, build workforce skills, and gain the confidence they need to create a future they are proud of.
What they love about their students?
I love seeing my students discover their strengths, develop confidence, and begin to recognize the opportunities available to them. I especially enjoy supporting multilingual learners, first-generation students, and students who may face barriers as they work toward their goals.
A Classroom Goal or Current Need
My goal is to continue connecting students with meaningful opportunities beyond the classroom, including career exploration, internships, college preparation, industry certifications, resume development, and workforce readiness experiences that help prepare them for their next steps.
