Frequently Asked Questions

Sunflower Scholars Outreach is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that every teacher has the tools to teach and every student has the resources to learn. Through community partnerships and generous donors, we provide classroom supplies, student essentials, food, clothing, and emergency support. 

Yes! Sunflower Scholars Outreach is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. 

We are based in Raleigh, NC, but we aim to grow and support educators and students across underserved communities wherever possible. Currently, we have helped in Richlands, Raleigh, NC, and Kansas City, MO. 

Teachers and school staff may apply through our Blooming Together page.  

Our Clear the List initiative helps teachers get the supplies they need by connecting them with donors and sponsors. Teachers submit their lists, and we work with our community to fulfill them, helping classrooms bloom one supply at a time. 

 Funds and supplies are distributed directly to teachers and students in need through verified applications and trusted community channels.
