Yes! Sunflower Scholars Outreach is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. 

 Sunflower Scholars Outreach is a grassroots-founded and proudly based organization in Raleigh, North Carolina, where we've been deeply involved in the community for over 10 years. Our mission extends far beyond city lines. We are committed to growing our impact and supporting educators and students in underserved communities wherever the need exists. From Raleigh to Richlands, North Carolina, and as far as Kansas City, Missouri, we’re dedicated to planting seeds of support, hope, and opportunity in classrooms across the country. 

Teachers and school staff can request support by completing the application on our Blooming Together page. It’s the first step in connecting with resources that help classrooms and students thrive. 

 Our Clear the List initiative helps teachers get the supplies they need by connecting them with generous donors and sponsors. Educators submit their classroom wish lists, and we activate our community of supporters to help fulfill them—item by item. From pencils to paper, books to bulletin boards, each donation brings a classroom one step closer to thriving. Together, we're clearing barriers and helping classrooms bloom—one supply at a time.  

All funds and supplies are distributed directly to teachers and students in need through a verified application process and trusted partnerships with schools, social workers, and community organizations—ensuring that support reaches those who need it most, when they need it most.
