Sowing Seeds of Hope: The Heart of Our Mission
Our Story
We launched Sunflower Scholars Outreach in 2024 after witnessing the everyday challenges teachers face. Through our work with local schools and PTAs, we saw teachers purchasing classroom supplies with their own money, stretching limited resources, and going above and beyond for their students.
These moments motivated us to take action.
We believed our community could come together to ease these challenges and offer meaningful support to educators. What began as small supply drives has grown into a nonprofit dedicated to providing classroom resources, encouragement, and support so teachers and students can bloom.
Since our founding, we have welcomed 25 teachers, supported 17 classrooms, and invested more than $3,368 in classroom resources. Every donation, partnership, and volunteer effort helps remove barriers, strengthen classrooms, and remind educators that their community stands beside them.
Today, Sunflower Scholars Outreach continues to grow through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners who believe every teacher deserves the tools to help students succeed.

Through community partnerships, generous donors, and dedicated volunteers, we provide classroom resources, educator support, and mission-driven programs that help reduce out-of-pocket expenses, strengthen classrooms, and empower teachers so they can focus on teaching.
Our Team
Behind every thriving sunflower field is a dedicated team of caretakers, and Sunflower Scholars Outreach is no different. We are a grassroots, community-driven organization united by one purpose: supporting teachers and helping classrooms flourish.
Our volunteer Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, financial oversight, and mission-focused governance to ensure every decision reflects our values and every resource is used responsibly. As a nonprofit founded in 2024, we remain hands-on in our work while staying committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship.
Everyone on our team brings unique skills, experiences, and a passion for helping teachers. We organize supply drives, support classrooms, build community partnerships, and connect with local donors to make a meaningful difference for educators and the classrooms they serve.
